Description

The Dovecote, located approximately 25 metres south of The Manor, is a 17th-century structure situated in the grounds of The Manor. It is built from roughly coursed limestone rubble and features a stone slate roof with a rectangular plan. The dovecote has a central square wooden access lantern topped with a pyramidal roof. It also includes a flat-chamfered eaves cornice and flat coping at the gable ends. On the side facing The Manor, there is a low narrow flat-chamfered doorway. Inside, the dovecote contains pigeon holes and landings within the walls.
