Description

The Tudor Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the 17th century. It features square-panelled timber-framing with rendered infill and has a thatched roof with decorative ridge thatching. The building has a rectangular plan and includes a later projecting porch located off-centre to the right. There is an outbuilding at the right gable end and a garage with a linking wall at the left gable end, which are not of special interest. The cottage is 1½ storeys high and has three 3-light eyebrow dormers on the first floor. The ground floor has four and 3-light casements, all with leaded panes. The porch, which is part-glazed, is located off-centre to the right and features a plank door. A brick stack rises from the ridge. The interior has not been inspected.
