Description

The dovecote at The Manor, possibly dating from the 17th century, is a circular structure made of rubble stone and topped with a conical stone slate roof. It features two eaves lean-to dormers and a square timber lantern at the apex, which also has a conical roof. The north side has a doorway with a timber lintel. Inside, the dovecote is entirely lined with ashlar nesting boxes, and there is a spine wall that is also lined with nesting boxes on both sides.
