Description
Grange Farm is a detached house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick sitting on a slight flat chamfered limestone plinth, topped with a red tile roof and featuring brick stacks. The main body of the house has a rectangular plan and stands two storeys high with an attic. The symmetrical facade has three windows, which include two and three-light casements with transoms. The ground floor windows have cambered heads, while the first floor windows feature segmental heads. The central entrance consists of a fielded six-panel door with the upper two panels glazed, all set within a moulded architrave. A decorative cast-iron porch with a hipped leaded roof enhances the entrance. The eaves cornice is sawtooth in design. There is a projecting stack at the right gable end and another stack at the left gable end. A 20th-century flat-roofed extension at the rear is not considered of special interest. The interior has not been inspected.
