Description
Cotswold View is a detached house built in the late 18th to early 19th century. The main structure is made of brick, while the rear extension features coursed squared and dressed limestone and brick. The roof is covered with concrete tiles, and there are brick chimneys. The house has an 'L' shape, with two storeys and an attic that is illuminated by a single three-light raking dormer. The front facade has three bays and two windows, all featuring three-light wooden casements set within segmental-headed surrounds, complete with slatted shutters.
A distinctive six-panel door from the late 18th to early 19th century, where the upper two panels are now glazed, is located within a gabled 19th-century porch that has half lattice-work sides and a decorative barge board. Above the porch, there is a blocked two-light segmental-headed window. The main body of the house has a mansard roof, and there is a single-storey extension at the rear. The house has a stack at the front left-hand corner and gable-end stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
