Description

Village Farmhouse is a detached house dating to the late 18th and early 19th centuries. It is constructed of roughly dressed limestone and brick, with a stone slate roof and ashlar and stone stacks. The building has a long, rectangular plan with a 19th-century brick extension at the rear, which is not considered to be of special interest.

The two-storey, five-windowed facade features 2- and 3-light stone-mullioned casement windows, which are likely 19th-century replacements. These windows contain 20th-century leaded panes. A 20th-century gabled porch is located off-centre to the left, featuring a stopped hood. Axial and gable end stacks are present, with flat coping on the gable ends. A roll-cross saddle sits at the left gable end. The interior was not inspected.
