Description
Snowdrop Cottage is a small house, probably dating from the 17th century. It features timber framing with wattle and daub and brick nogging, finished with white rendered infill, and has a corrugated iron roof. The cottage consists of two bays, is one room deep, and has one and a half storeys. The front facing the road has framing that is three panels high. There is a brace to the wallplate from the corner post, and it has a two-light casement window, along with braces extending from the main post. Additionally, there is a three-light casement window with an iron opening light. Two beam ends project from the studs, and there is a four-pane window in a lean-to on the left end. A gable chimney is located at the left end, and the bays are of unequal length. Snowdrop Cottage forms a group with Street End Cottage.
