Two houses in row. Dated 1897. Coursed and dressed limestone; ashlar and artificial stone rebuilt chimneys; stone slate roof, concrete tile to rear. Two-storey with attic. Front: 3 full steep gables, 3-window fenestration to upper floor and attic, 3- light to upper floor, 2-light to attic, all mullioned with hoodmoulds and lead-latticed casements. Two and 3-light casements to ground floor, 4 in all arranged either side of doorway to each house, doorways having gabled porch hoods. Large lozenge datestone at upper floor level. Small quatrefoil vent in apex of each gable. Plain barge boards. Four ridge-mounted chimneys with plain caps. Rear: 2 lean-to outshuts. Interior not inspected. Attached house at south end (Tyndoll Cottage) is not of special interest. An externally unaltered building contributing greatly to the Victorian character of the centre of Amberley village.
