Description

Woodbank Cottage is a detached house dating to around 1860. It is constructed of ashlar limestone with a concrete tile roof. The house is two storeys high and built in the Tudor Gothic style, with a rectangular plan and parapet gabled ends featuring kneelers and cross gables. The windows are recessed, chamfered, mullioned casements with leaded lattice and hoodmoulds. A slit vent with a hoodmould is situated in the gable apex. Two projecting chimney stacks are located on the east side, with cut-down stacks. The interior has not been inspected. The house occupies an important position on a hillside.
