Description

This is an unidentified chest tomb located approximately 5.5 meters north of the north porch entrance to the Church of St. Cyr in Stinchcombe. It dates from the early 18th century and is made of limestone in a Baroque style. The tomb features cyma capping and a base on a raised plinth, which includes enriched corner balusters and cartouche panels on the sides and ends. The inscriptions were not legible at the time of the survey but are presumed to belong to a member of the Hicks family.
