Description

This is a detached house, originally a mill building, and now used as offices. It dates from the late 17th century. The house is constructed of roughly-layered limestone rubble with brick chimneys and a stone slate roof. It has two storeys and an attic, and is arranged in an L-shape.

The south side features a projecting gable to the right, with a single window. This window has chamfered mullioned casement glazing, with a two-light window on the ground floor, offset to the centre, and a continuous hoodmould extending to the east side. A two-light window is located on the upper floor and in the attic, both also with hoodmoulds. A 20th-century door is positioned to the left. The east side has a single window with three lights. On the north side, a two-light casement on the ground floor has been partially blocked. A lean-to on the attached side is of no particular architectural interest. The west side has a smaller gable with an altered fixed window on the upper floor, covered by a timber lintel, and a small single-light window in the attic, with a hoodmould.

The interior has not been inspected. The house forms a group with The Nook.
