Description

OLD BRISTOL ROAD 1. 5227 (north-west side) No 1, 2 and Bank Side (No 3), Millbottom formerly listed as Millbottom under Bristol Road) ST 8499 6/47 30.5.51 II GV 2. Central portion remodelled circa 1820. Two storeys, rubble with stone tile roofs. Three windows, glazing bar sashes. Six panel door with rusticated stone surround. Flanked by mid C17 gabled cottages, the left hand one (Bank Side Cottage) has 2 windows, 4 light casements with hollow chamfer mouldings to mullions, drips. Modern central door and porch. Two gable lights also with hollow chamfer surrounds and drips. Right hand end gable has modern windows, north front has a dormer.
