Description
Brook Villas, dating from the late 17th century, is a pair of two-storey houses located on Brewery Lane. The buildings are constructed of rubble with a stone tile roof. Each house features attic gables with mullioned windows set in recessed surrounds, with No 2 displaying ovolo mullions and No 3 having chamfered mullions. Below these, there are three-light casement windows with cambered heads, dating from around 1820. The central entrance door has a square head with a keystone, a double-ogee surround, a stone hood, and a six-panel door. At the rear, No 3 is notable for its pair of diagonal chimney shafts. Additionally, there is a three-light mullion window on the first floor situated between the gables of Nos 2 and 3.
