Terrace of 3 attached houses. c1830. Possibly by Charles Underwood. Limestone ashlar with brick party wall stacks, roof not visible. Double-depth plan. Each of 3 storeys and basement; 1-window range. First-floor sill band, frieze, cornice and parapet; left-hand doorways have panelled pilasters with anthemion capitals, plate-glass overlights and 8-panel doors with roundels. Tripartite windows have panelled mullions, on the first floor a central pediment and outer panels, with 6/6-pane and flanking 2/2-pane sashes; curved pavement grilles to basement doorways. INTERIOR not inspected. HISTORICAL NOTE: an interesting early departure from late Georgian patterns of doorway and window, in the manner of the Dispensary, No.13 Dowry Square (qv).
