Description
Fromehall Mills is an early 19th-century building, said to have been older than Lodgemoor Mills, which dates back to 1608. The structure is made of hammer-dressed rubble and features a modern pitched roof. It has four storeys and consists of eight bays with segment-headed windows and stone arches. There is a plinth that indicates the location of a former chimney. To the south of the main block, there is a 17th or 18th-century range, also constructed of hammer-dressed rubble, with a pitched slate roof and four storeys, featuring ten ranges of mullioned casements. Fromehall Mills is part of a group that includes Lodgemoor Mills, Lodgemoor Mills Office Block Nos 1 and 2, Lodgemoor Cottages, and Lodgemoor Mills Bridge.
