Description

Avoca is a detached cottage located on the east side of Dursley Road in Slimbridge. It was built in the early 19th century and is constructed of Flemish bond brick with a stone slate roof featuring brick gable stacks. The cottage has two storeys and three windows, which include plate glass sashes. There is also a bit inserted steel casement window to the left of the central door, which is sheltered by a small gabled porch. Avoca is an important feature at the end of a row of dwellings that includes Barnfield Cottages.
