Description
The Vicarage is an early 19th-century vicarage located on the east side of The Street in Coaley. It features a smooth rendered exterior and a Welsh slate roof. The building has a simple block shape with gable stacks and extensions on both the left and right sides. The main entrance is positioned diagonally at the junction of the main block and the left wing at the back. The front of the building, which faces the church, is two storeys high with three windows. It has original sash windows with bars, although there is a later 19th-century square bay window on the left. The central bay is recessed and has an etched head, containing a small sash window on the first floor and a blind opening below. The back of the building has been re-windowed, and the gable facing the street features two sashes with glazing bars. The entrance includes a six-panel door with pyramidal 19th-century panels.
