Description
Church Farmhouse is a dwelling that represents the remains of a larger farmhouse, dating from the 17th century. It is constructed of squared and coursed stone with a concrete tile roof. The building features a very tall gabled structure with a steeply pitched roof. The left gable has a coped verge and kneelers, along with a large external stack that has a saddle back tiled link to the gable and a rebuilt upper section in brick. To the left of this is a 1½ storey extension with a double Roman tile roof.
The farmhouse has two storeys and an attic, with a two-windowed front that includes a two-light window above a 20th-century replacement ground floor window on the left. On the right, there is a four-light stone mullion window with a transom and ovolo moulding, featuring a king mullion and stopped drips at the ground floor. The back elevation mirrors the front with a one-windowed four-light mullion, transom, and king mullion.
A modern door is located in the right gable, which is likely a rebuild from the 19th century. Inside, the ground floor features two heavy moulded beams.
