Description

Pinfarthings Cottage is a 18th-century building, dated 1718, located in Pinfarthings. The cottage features a central section that has been repaired and is constructed of rubble with a Cotswold stone roof. It has two half dormers on the outer sides and two attic dormers on the cross gables, which include saddlestones. The cottage has modern chimneys and a variety of two and three-light casement windows with wooden lintels. There are three doors, and the left-hand bay is a 19th-century extension. The interior has been altered, and the roof trusses show complex joints, with one truss supported by a wall plate that extends across one of the attic windows and is secured with a lead peg.
