Description

Hazeldene Cottage is a dwelling built in the early 19th century. It features a painted brick exterior and a stone slate roof. The gable facing the street has stone coping with horizontal kneeler copings that support ball finials, while the top capping does not have a finial. The cottage is adjacent to the outer gable of Oatridge House. It is two storeys high with an irregular two-window arrangement on the entrance front, which includes 2-light casements. A centrally located plank door is framed and opposite a large central stack. The road elevation has one over two 2-light casements. The cottage is included for its group value.
