Description

The monument to Henry Bradly is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 0.5 metres south of the monument to Hannah Bradly, near the Church of St. John. It dates from 1730 and is made of limestone. The tomb features lyre ends with two figures on the east end, each holding a swag inscription panel and an open book. The west end displays three winged cherub heads set against a shell backing. There are raised rectangular inscription panels on the sides, which have elaborately carved and undercut borders, flanked by putti. The tomb has a cornice moulded top and a cyma moulded base. The south side is inscribed to Henry Bradly, who died in 1730, while the north side commemorates other family members.
