Description
This is a chest tomb dedicated to Hannah Bradly, located in the churchyard approximately 8 meters south of the Church of St. John. It dates from 1728 and is made of limestone. The tomb features lyre ends with a coronet above a pedestal-mounted open book at the west end, and a winged cherub's head above a cartouche at the east end. The north side has an oval wreathed inscription panel, adorned with winged cherub's heads in the upper spandrels, and an hour-glass and a death's head, both winged, in the lower spandrels. The south side is missing. The tomb has a cyma moulded top and base and is inscribed on the north side to Hannah, the wife of Henry Bradly, who died in 1728.
