Description
The Bradly monument is a pedestal tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 1 metre east of the monument to the brother of Henry Bradly, south of the Church of St. John. This 18th-century tomb is made of limestone and features boldly carved single consoles at each end. The eastern console displays two winged cherub's heads, while the western console has two death's heads on cross-bones. The sides of the monument are adorned with a large moulded circular panel set within a square fret-moulded panel, and there are carved leaves in the spandrels. The top is hollow moulded, and the base is cavetto. The south side is inscribed to ------ Bradly, although the inscription is otherwise illegible.
