Description

ARLINGHAM OVERTON LANE SO 71 SW (off east side) 2/30 Barn at Wick Court and adjoining animal shelter to east 10.1.55 (formerly listed with Wick Court) GV II Large barn and adjoining animal shelter. Late C18, animal shelter probably C19. Barn of brick with brick dentil cornice, concrete tile roof except for stone slates on west pitch of porch roof. Large projecting gabled porch to south with depressed arch and double timber doors, with 2 square pierced brick panels (one above the other) to each side with slit vents. North side similar but with flush entry. Five tiers of slit vents to gable ends. Five bays, central bay wider, collar and tie beam trusses with queen post struts. Animal shelter of brick with pantile roof. L-shape, turning to south. Three open bays to each face with wooden struts marking bays.
