Description
No 30 is a house located at the end of a row on Friday Street in Minchinhampton, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble limestone, with chimneys rebuilt in concrete block and a concrete tile roof. The building is two stories high and features a curved outbuilding that connects with the adjacent row of houses (Nos 22 to 28).
The front of the house has a central former doorway that has been filled with a 20th-century casement window, and there is a narrow fixed-light window to the left. On the upper floor, there are two 4-pane sash windows. The gable end chimneys have been rebuilt. The curved outbuilding includes a doorway with a reset gadrooned timber lintel that is dated 1690, and it has a 20th-century door. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value with the surrounding structures.
