Description

This barn, located approximately 40 meters southeast of Star Farmhouse, dates from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble limestone and features a stone slate roof. The barn has three bays and includes central doorways on each side, which have timber lintels and plank doors. There are also slit vents on either side and a smaller additional doorway on the west side, also with a timber lintel. Inside, the barn has a three-bay tie beam truss roof supported by two rows of trenched purlins. The barn is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
