Description

Jasmine Cottage is a house, likely originally two dwellings, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of limestone, cut into squared blocks, with a stone slate roof. No chimney stacks are visible. The house has two storeys and attic space, with a three-window front. On the ground floor are two 3-light, chamfered mullion casement windows to the outer bays, one 2-light casement replacing a former door to the off-centre right, and a plank door situated off-centre to the left. The first floor has three 2-light casement windows, containing glazing bars. There are two gabled dormers in the roof, each with a 2-light casement window. The building is included on the list for its group value.
