Description
A group of three monuments is located in the churchyard approximately 8 meters southeast of the porch to the former Church of St Peter. This group includes one chest tomb and two pedestal tombs, dating from the late 17th century, late 18th century, and early 19th century. The monuments are made of limestone and sandstone. The chest tomb features inset sandstone end panels within a wreath border and is inscribed on the east end to J.W., erected in 1687. One of the pedestal tombs is made of limestone, with corner balusters and finely carved bowed ends, while the other is made of sandstone, displaying a relief of a tree and urn on the east end, inscribed to George Daw, although the date is illegible.
