Description

No. 2 Dyers Brook is a detached dwelling built in the early 19th century. The front is cement rendered with ashlar detailing, while the gables and back are constructed from rubble. It features a Welsh slate roof and stands three storeys tall with a roof space. The building has three windows, which are sashes with glazing bars, set under stepped voussoirs and bold projecting keystones. The entrance includes a six-panel door with a fanlight above, framed by a pilastered doorcase and an open pediment. There is a sash window with bars that lights the roof space on the left side, and a small sash window in the basement on the right. Although it is an isolated building, it remains complete and retains its original external appearance.
