Description

A row of three houses dating from around 1830, located in Dursley Woodmancote. The houses are constructed of painted brick, with coursed rubble limestone to the sides and rear. They have brick chimneys and a Welsh slate roof to number 65, with replacement tiles on the other two houses. The row is three stories high, with a throughway connecting numbers 67 and 69.

The front elevation has a single window in each house, with false sashes flanking number 67, all featuring voussoir lintels. The upper floors contain a mix of sash windows, some original with 16 and 8 panes to number 65. Four round-arched doorways have plain architraves, imposts, and keystones; the throughway has a larger opening. The doorways are grouped in pairs, with a variety of doors. The ground floor fenestration of number 65 has been altered with a late 19th-century pair of plate glass sashes in an enlarged opening, and a small-paned bow window exists at number 67. Brick pilasters are present at the ends of the elevation, and there is a moulded eaves cornice. Ridge-mounted chimneys are also visible. The rear elevation features segmental-arched windows with a mixture of casements.
