26 And 27, Brunswick Square

26 and 27 Brunswick Square are a pair of houses built around 1835, with some minor alterations from the 20th century. They are constructed from stuccoed brick and feature slate roofs and brick chimney stacks. The houses are designed as mirror images of each other in a double-depth block, with wings at the rear.

The exterior showcases three storeys and a cellar, with a symmetrical front that includes a moulded crowning cornice and a coped parapet. Each house has a central pair of three-storey canted bays, which have moulded cornices at the first-floor level and crowning cornices with coped parapets. The entrance doorways are located to the right and left of the bays, each accessed by a short flight of stone steps. The doorways have semicircular arched heads with fanlights and panelled doors. Each canted bay features a sash window in the front and a narrow sash window on each side on every floor. Additionally, there is a sash window on the first floor to each side of the bay, which includes decorative wrought-iron window guards, and a similar sash on the second floor. All windows are plain, horned sashes. The interior has not been inspected.
