Description

Nibley House is an early 19th-century dwelling located on Awre Etloe Road, Nibley Green. The house is constructed of ashlar with a Welsh slate roof and has deep eaves and end stacks. It is a detached building with a hipped roof of low pitch. The original part of the house is two storeys and three windows wide, featuring sash windows with glazing bars. The front door is a six-panel design, with the lower four panels now glazed above a three-pane transom light, situated centrally. A large umbrella verandah with slender decorative iron supports covers the front of the ground floor. Later extensions have been added to the original building.
