Description

Wyecliffe House is a late 18th or early 19th century dwelling located in Tidenham, near Tutshill. The house is constructed of rendered and ashlar, with a bitumenised slate roof and gable stacks, alongside a long, deep ridge stack in the back wing. Its design incorporates a parallel range and a back wing to form a T-shaped plan. The house stands three stories high, with a five-window facade. The top floor features nine-pane sashes, while the ground and first floors have twelve-pane sashes. A central doorway is framed by fluted pilasters and topped with an open pediment. Original shutters are present inside on the ground floor. Wyecliffe House occupies a prominent position directly facing the road, overlooking Chepstow Bridge.
