Description
This is an unidentified chest tomb located in the churchyard about 5 metres southeast of the porch of St Mary Magdalen. It dates from the mid-18th century and is made of sandstone. The tomb features a flat top with a moulded edge and plain inscription panels, which are doubled on the north side. At the time of the survey in November 1983, the base was found to be sunk, and the inscriptions were not legible. The monument is situated directly south of the Elizabeth Brown monument and adjacent to the Dinah Man monument.
