Description

The monument to Samuel Fores or Ford is a late 18th-century pedestal tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 3.5 meters north of the north wall of the nave of the Church of St Mary. It is made of sandstone and features a flat top with reserved corners and a moulded edge. The plain panels are badly eroded, and it has a moulded base. The name Samuel Forest or Ford is inscribed, but no dates are currently legible.
