Description

Rock Castle is a folly that has been converted into a dental surgery. It was built around 1850, with a late 20th-century extension. The building is made of stone and has a rendered finish, topped with a tarred slate roof that slopes down from the parapet wall at the front. It features a Gothic design, with a polygonal shape and a circular tower at the right corner. The structure has three storeys up to the parapet wall and two storeys at the rear. The fenestration is scattered, with some windows being blind. There is a large pointed arch window on the first floor, while the ground floor has late 20th-century windows. The entrance is now located in the extension to the left, and there is a stone buttress at the rear.
