Description
This is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 15 metres southeast of the southeast corner of the chancel of the Church of St Mary. It dates from the mid-18th century and is made of sandstone. The tomb features a flat top with a moulded edge and slightly fielded panels. On the east end, there is a vertical ellipse with leaf embellishments in the spandrels, while the west end has a sunk ellipse within a wreath and a fielded panel. The inscriptions are mostly illegible but include the name of the wife of Henry King, dated 176-.
