Description
The Old Vicarage is a house from the early 19th century located in Cinderford. It has a rendered exterior and originally had a slate roof, which was replaced with tiles around 1984. The building is two stories high and features a front that is five windows wide, with a single window extension. The front door is centrally located in the main section and has a glazed upper half with flush panels below, but it is now obscured by a late 20th-century porch that has a tiled roof supported by three columns. To the left of the front door, there is a single canted bay window with a hipped roof, replacing what would have been two windows. The house has a hipped roof with lead hips and rendered chimneys. Originally a vicarage, it was adapted for use as a hotel in 1978.
