7/229 Wintle monument, in the churchyard about 2m east of north-east corner of nave, Church of St. Lawrence

GV II

Pedestal tomb; Mary Wintle, died 1819; stone. Low pyramid top, step to weathering, moulded edge to lid. Plain frieze, paterae at each end, raised moulding below. North and south faces raised ovals, moulded edge, corner paterae; east and west faces, raised, rectangular panel with ornate ogee head. Moulded top to plinth, on square stone base, with furrowed vertical face. Later inscriptions.
