Description

The monument to --- Matthews is located in the churchyard about 8 meters north of the corner of the north aisle chapel of the Church of St Mary. This chest tomb dates from the early 18th century and is made of sandstone. It features a large ledger slab with an inscription presented in two columns, a moulded edge, plain panels on the chest, and a moulded base that was partly sunk as of September 1983. The inscription includes the name --- Matthews and the year 1737. This memorial is situated 2 meters east of the Dorthy Berro--- memorial.
