Description
No. 8 The Green is a cottage located at the west end of a row of three, likely built in the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a stone slate roof with a nearly central small stone ridge stack. The building has a single front range and a rear wing, standing two storeys tall. There are three windows, which include two 2-light ovolo-moulded stone mullions with leaded casements. On the ground floor, there are two 3-light windows with a wide space between them, although there is no evidence in the stonework of a former central door. The entrance is located in a small gabled porch on the left-hand side, which has a 20th-century door.
