Description
No 9, The Green is a former pair of cottages that have been converted into a central cottage within a row of three. It likely dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century. The building is constructed of coursed rubble stone and features alternating flush quoins next to a blocked doorway on the left side. It has a stone slate roof and a central stone ridge stack. The structure is a single front range with two storeys. Originally, there were end doors that are now blocked, and there is one window on each floor. Currently, the front has two paired casement windows with chamfered timber lintels on the ground floor, along with a central entrance that includes a gabled porch and a four-panel door, which probably dates from the late 19th century to early 20th century.
