Description
Phipp's Yard is a detached house set back from the road, built in the mid-19th century. It features coursed squared and dressed limestone with a slate roof, and has one ashlar stack and one 20th-century stack that imitates ashlar. The house has a rectangular plan and is two storeys high with a two-windowed, five-bay facade. The left end has a symmetrical two-windowed front, which is lit by 12-pane sash windows with keystones. The central entrance is a 19th-century panelled door, also with a keystone. There are gable-end and axial stacks, along with two skylights in the forward-facing roof pitch. The interior has not been inspected.
