Description
The Mount is a detached house built in the 18th and 19th centuries. It is constructed from coursed, squared, and dressed limestone, featuring ashlar and artificial stone stacks, with an artificial stone slate roof. The main body of the house has a symmetrical facade and is 2½ storeys tall, with a cellar. It has a 2-windowed facade that is illuminated by 2 and 3-light stone-mullioned casements with horizontal glazing bars. The central entrance is a part-glazed door from the 20th century. There are also two-light 20th-century garret lights in the gable ends. To the right, there is a 19th-century extension with a lower roof line, which is 2 storeys tall and has a 2-windowed facade featuring all 2-light wood casements. A well is located against the right gable end, which has flat gable-end coping and gable-end stacks.
