Description
Stonecote is a house located at the end of a row in Northleach, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone, with the finest stone used at the front. The front roof is covered with stone slate, while the rear has a slate roof. There is a stump of an ashlar stack and a 20th-century artificial stone stack. The main body of the house is rectangular, with several later extensions at right angles at the rear. The facade is symmetrical, featuring two storeys and two windows, which are lit by 12-pane sash windows with keystones. A 19th-century six-panel door is set within a surround that also has a keystone. The gable ends have stacks and flat coping. The interior has not been inspected.
