Description

Rock Cottage is a cottage, likely originating in the 18th century, but dated "Rock Cottage 1878" on its construction. It is built of rubble with a Cotswold stone roof. The cottage is two storeys high with attics, and has two bays. It features two gabled dormers and two windows with segment-headed casements. A gabled, 20th-century porch is located to the right of the centre, and the original door to the left of the centre has been replaced with a window. A two-storey, 20th-century extension is attached to the right. The building is listed for its group value, contributing significantly to the character of the village when viewed from the A436.
