Description

Windrush is a cottage from the mid-19th century that was modernised in the late 20th century. It is built of rubble with a Cotswold stone roof and features ashlar end stacks. The cottage has two storeys and attics, with two gabled dormers and two segment-headed three-light casement windows. There is a central gabled porch, and it has a one-bay extension on each side; the left wing is also two storeys and has an attic, while the right wing is one storey with an attic. Viewed from the main road (A436), this cottage enhances the overall appearance of the village. It is incorrectly marked as Woodrush Vale on the Ordnance Survey map.
