Description

This building is a former cottage, now partly used as an office, located immediately north of Lower Swell Primary School. It dates back to the 17th century and was re-roofed in the 19th century. The structure is made of rubble and features a Cotswold stone roof. It has one and a half storeys and includes two windows that are two-light mullion windows with drips, although the ground floor mullions have been removed. There is a central door with a timber lintel and outer Cotswold gables, making it a typical example of a Cotswold cottage, at least in its front appearance.
