Description

This is a mid-to-late 19th-century village school building. It is constructed of rubble stone with ashlar quoins and dressings, and has a Cotswold stone roof. The architectural style is Cotswold. The building has a simple rectangular plan, with a 3:1 window arrangement featuring mullion and transom windows, although the windows on the right-hand side are different. Access is from the rear. A small bellcote is located to the right of the centre and there are ashlar chimneys at each gable, with the left-hand chimney being notably shorter. The building is included on the list for its group value.
