Description
The building is a chemist shop located to the west of Church Gates in Blockley, likely dating from the 18th century but altered in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed, squared rubble and features a concrete tile roof. The structure has two storeys and an attic, with two windows on the upper floor. The ground floor showcases projecting 19th-century shop windows with slated roofs, flanking a central plain doorway. Above, there are two light small-paned wooden Yorkshire casements. A modern gabled dormer is present, and there is a through passage to the left. The doorway and through passage still show portions of string over the ground floor.
